At Be My Bear, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and working towards a more sustainable future across everything we do.

Our Approach

Our long-term goal is to ensure that every product we offer - from plush toys to clothing - is responsibly made using sustainable materials and processes. While this is an ongoing journey, we have already taken meaningful steps to improve our environmental footprint.

These include reducing unnecessary printing, reusing and recycling cardboard packaging, using 100% recycled or FSC-certified paper products, and switching to more environmentally friendly cleaning solutions across our operations.

Plush for the Planet

We have begun transitioning our product range with the introduction of our eco-focused collection, Plush for the Planet. These products are developed using recycled materials and are aligned with the standards promoted by the Textile Exchange - an organisation focused on driving meaningful change in the textile industry.

The Textile Exchange works towards reducing carbon emissions in fabric production, while also addressing wider environmental factors such as water usage, soil health, and biodiversity.

Sustainable Materials

Developing sustainable plush products without compromising on quality has been a key focus. Our eco range uses recycled fabrics that meet the same standards as our main collection, ensuring customers do not have to choose between quality and responsibility.

Many of our early designs in this range take inspiration from marine life, helping to highlight the impact of plastic waste on our oceans and raise awareness through the products themselves.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. We will continue expanding our eco range and gradually phasing in more sustainable materials across our full product line as better solutions become available.
